Summary:  

"The Interlopers" by Saki is a short story of two neighbors who are against eah others. After a hunt in the woods their view is changed.

The Interlopers by Saki is a story of age long rivalry and hate between two families ends with an interesting twist. Two families, The Znayems and the Von Gradwitzs have hated each other for generations on account of a court case many years ago over a strip of land in the Carpathian Mountains. The Gradwitzs have won the case and this land was their but over the years the Znayems have still believed this was their land and they hunted game on this land. Ulrich von Gradwitz was the head of his family and did not appreciate intruders on his land so he gathered foresters armed him self and went into the forest to find his long time foe. As Ulrich surveyed the land in the stormy night he was soon face to face.....
