William Bradford was born in 1590 in England and later moved to Holland with the Puritan group. In 1613 he married Dorothy May who died seven years later on the Mayflower. Her death was either an accident or was suicide when she fell off overboard and drowned. While in Plymouth, John Carver, the Governor of Plymouth, died and Bradford was elected Governor......
