John Forbes Nash Jr. was born in Bluefield West Virginia in the Bluefield Sanatarium hospital on June 13, 1928. His father, John Forbes Nash Sr., was an electrical engineer who worked for the Appalachian Electric Power company. John Nash Sr., an electrical engineering major at Texas A&, received his bachelor's degree in science moved to Bluefield to work the utilities plant. Margaret Martin(Virginia), John Nash Jr.'s mother, was a Bluefield school teacher who taught English and Latin. She mat John Nash Sr. After teaching for ten years and they were married on September 6, 1924. John Nash had one sibling, his sister Martha, who was born 2 « years after John. As a child John was anti-social and preferred to be by himself reading Compton's Pictured Encyclopedia and preforming science experiments in his room than playing.....
