Which is overall a substantial amount for this read.

A Walk in the Woods tells a true story of two old friends who decide to hike the 2,100-mile Appalachian Trail. Stephen Katz is Bill Bryson's friend from Iowa who is also very unfit for the hike but joins Bryson none-the-less. These men struggle on their journey and stop whenever they come across a hotel or restaurant. They meet some out of the ordinary characters on their hike too.
