Summary of Case

Able Engineering Limited is a family owned company, and has existed for the past fifty-three years. Located in West London, producing hydraulic test units for aircrafts. It is classified as a medium sized manufacturing company in a secondary industry. Over the past years it has developed a well known reputation, getting most of its business from the Ministry of Defense, and thus a high standard of quality needs to be maintained. During the last twenty years the company has established several unorganized extensions, maintaining a factory staff of eighty-two, with a mixture of skills. They also have a well developed and organized apprenticeship scheme. Most of the company is owned by father and son, however the father also chairman has been ill, and thus the company has been mainly run by his son Roger......
