Consequences of the Sino Japanese War

The Sino-Japanese War officially commenced after the Marco-Polo Bridge incident, July 7 1937, which temporarily halted the Chinese civil war situation and united the two parties CCP and GMD to form a united front to confront the Japanese military aggression in its ambition to colonize China.

What the Japanese troops thought to have been a small and swift capture of the country turned out to progress to a bitter situation due to the determination of the Chinese United Front to fight for their own survival. Although the two parties had joined together, they did not practice a synchronized fighting situation, however advancing in their own ways to fight for a liberated China. Of course then, the war had two different effects individually on the CCP and GMD politically, socially economically and militarily.
