Dioum) such is a quote that has gained immortality in American society. Some say that this verse reaches out to us because we are each affected by its simplicity on a very personal level. It asks, "Am I protecting what I love"" "Do I comprehend why I love"" And, "What was I taught"" Possibly the greatest of these enigmas points us toward our educators. It was they who taught, who shared, who mentored, and who inspired. It was through their eyes that we as adults gained vision and focus.
