First in the book, NIGHT till Hitler came to power. Furthermore, Jews were taken in ghettos and directly moved into camps. Finally, the Jews were transported on train to various concentration camps. The various people consisted of homosexuals, Jews, and gypsies; attempting to make the "perfect" race. The holocaust has finally come into play.

First, in the book, NIGHT Jews started off living normal lives. At first, Jews were allowed to walk the streets without being criticized and patronized. Also, Jews were allowed to shop in normal stores than getting food from the black market and also eat at the restaurants. The Jews would work with the other Germans and the other people.
