Summary: Explores the history of the treatment of women in the middle east. Contrasts the treatment of male and female children.
Women are very important in everyone's life. Women have to go through many hardships as a wife, as a sister and as a daughter. In the past women were not able to go to work or to school. Only men worked outside to bring money for living. Women were supposed to do all the house work.

In the past as a wife the only thing women did was stand by their husband's side. When husband come home, dinner had to be on the table. Their clothes and their soapstone had to be ready. Her job was cleaning the house, washing the dishes, clothes and to raise the children. They were not allowed to express themselves and to do things they wanted to do. Most importantly in case of a divorce the children would belong to the husband. Even though the wife was the one who gave it birth...
