Summary: Reviews the play, An inspector calls, by J.B.Priestly. Discusses the methods Priestly uses to convey his concerns to his audience, including the inequality of the class system and the treatment of women.
Throughout this essay I am going to discuss the ways in which Priestly makes clear his concerns to his audience in the play "An Inspector Calls." There were many things which concerned Priestly. He tried to convey most of these worries in the play in what I think were clever, effective ways. One of these concerns was that the class system that divided everyone was incredibly unfair. Priestly believed that society should become classless so that all people would be treated fairly and everyone would be responsible for others' welfare.

Another worry of Priestly was the way women were treated unfairly. He thought that men and women both believed that men were higher up the social class ladder than women.
