On the subject of Yucca Mountain being developed into a radioactive and nuclear waste depository, I have many opinions. On one side, a part of me sees the importance of finding an adequate spot to store waste, yet on the other hand, the other side tells me that we should keep looking. I think I am so indecisive on this matter because I see both sides, the advantages and the disadvantages. However, after careful consideration, I have formulated the opinion that although Yucca Mountain is a site worthy of consideration from our government, the proposal that it should be used as a gigantic trash bin for nuclear and radioactive waste, should be vetoed based on concerns for safety.
