Summary: Describes the impact of artist Andy Warhol on the 1960s modern art movement. Explores how much of Warhol's work indicates a cynicism toward the world. Evaluates some of his most famous works.
It has been perceived throughout time that an artist's inspiration has had an impact on what was meaningful in that era and Andy Wahol was no exception to that rule. In fact because he was a prominent artist his words amplified loud and clear throughout the expression of his work. "During the 1960's Andy Wahol depiction of death and violence were marked by a sense of distance as through he had tapped into a vein of distinct apathy that seams to characterize the modern public understanding of tragedy and death (Artfacts 1)."

Even thought Wahol lived in an era were misfortunes became abundant I think that his work is cynicism towards the world.
