Mystery of Easter Island

Summary:   Investigates the mysterious arrival and disappearance of the long gone inhabitants of Easter Island. Describes the settlement of the island in 400 AD. Explores the culture of the island's inhabitants.


Somewhere around 1400 years ago a colony somehow migrated to a tiny island, in the middle of nowhere. But how did they get there? Nobody is sure, the only place closest is 4300 kilometers away, then there is the stupid sweet potato, now that just strange, but of course, why would it be? Well, the only way they could have gotten was to go to Chile, and that's 2300 miles away. And last but not least, there is the mysterious disappearance of them, now that's weird. Let's go a little more in depth.
