Analyzing Characters from The Hobbit

Summary:  

Provides a character description of three characters in the Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkein: Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and Thorin Oakinshield. Also gives a slight description of Middle Earth.

The Hobbit, written by J.R.R. Tolkein, is based on a make-believe world called Middle Earth, with a variety of real and fictional characters. The book centers around an unsuspecting hero who is called upon to join in on a dangerous expedition to retrieve a large treasure. What makes the book so spectacular is its use of astounding characters. Three of the biggest characters in the story are Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf, and Thorin Oakinshield.

Bilbo Baggins is a hobbit that lives in the Shire in the neighborhood of the Hill. Hobbits are very little people. A normal size man would liken the size of a full-grown hobbit to that of a child. Hobbits are inclined to be fat around the waist, but can also be very nimble and quiet. They hardly ever wear shoes and love.....
