The three main fates of Dido are the death of her husband, confesses her love for Aeneas and she wasn't able to reassume her noble position as the queen of Carthage. Dido, the city's ruler, welcomes the Trojan warriors and gives a banquet in honor of their leader, Aeneas, who Dido asked to narrate the Trojan's adventures to date. Aeneas tells how Troy fell to the Greeks on the night they invaded it. By the time Aeneas was finish telling the story Dido had fell in love with him.

Dido's first sign of fate was when her brother murdered her husband, Sychaeus, which caused her to flee her native Tyre. Dido was able to over come all odds; she establishes a new city and created her kingdom called Carthage. After the death of Sychaeus dido vowed to remain chaste and faithful to the memory of her dead husband...
