Animal Rights

Summary:   Examines the pros and cons of animal testing. Explores the health benefits of animal testing. Discusses the treatment of lab animals.


In this essay I am going to discuss the views on either side of animal testing, I will also give my own personal views and what I consider to be right or wrong.

Firstly I am going to write about the arguments for the testing on animals. The most significant advances in human health have involved the use of animals. Many people say that experiments are not relevant as animals have different bodies to humans but this is not the cases as all mammals have descended from common ancestors, one result of this is that humans are biologically similar to other mammals. Therefore, work in animals that have led to medicines, which have transformed many treatments of certain diseases, this century.
