Summary: Discusses the correlation between money and love in Sense and Sensibility, a novel written by Jane Austen.
By the 1800's when this novel was written by Jane Austen entitled Sense and sensibility,it deals with the idea of wealth and marriage in that age,it is written from a lady's point of view,they were oppressed and denied from sharing in the economical life, they lived on the money left for them from their relatives and close ones,especially male relatives,because of the inheritance laws in that age which is called primogeniture that the oldest son inherits the wealth,while the girls inherited nothing,but were granted and helped by their male relatives as i previously mentioned.

For a woman to get married in that age,she had to pay a large sum of money to have a decent marriage,and that obviously may delay the marriage,like what happened to Austen's sister who had a long time engagement due to the lack of...
