Essay | A Dream Is a Raisin

A raisin in the sun is not a pretty sight to see. It is small and shriveled up. There also may be some juices leaking from it which don't produce a very kind odor. So why then title a play after such a pathetic mess? Every person has had a day where they feel like a raisin in the sun.
