Part 1: The Existence of God - an Agnostic view

I am strictly an Agnostic, and I will explain why later - but here is an argument that we've all heard before disproving the existence of God.

With wars, famine, suffering, torment, drought, disasters, terrorists in the world, how can there be a God? And if there is a God, how can people claim he is benevolent? Basically they can't, no benevolent God, like the Christian one (for example) would let all the terrible things in the world happen. Taking our current world situation, there are no messiahs or Gods guiding us - the majority of human beings are now "sheep" to political leaders and tyrants.
