I am strictly an Agnostic, and I will explain why later - but here is an argument that we've all heard before disproving the existence of God.
With wars, famine, suffering, torment, drought, disasters, terrorists in the world, how can there be a God? And if there is a God, how can people claim he is benevolent? Basically they can't, no benevolent God, like the Christian one (for example) would let all the terrible things in the world happen.
