Cold Mountain: A Journey of Knowledge

In Charles Frazier's novel Cold Mountain, he demonstrates how people go through tough situations every day and that sometimes you just have to have knowledge and use your intuition to help you make the right decisions. In the story of Ada Monroe and Inman, Frazier shows exactly how knowledge and intuition overlap each other to work out well in the long run.

At the beginning of the story, Ada and her father, Monroe, move to a small conservative town of Cold Mountain in the hopes that maybe Ada will like it a little more than home. When Ada finally starts getting comfortable, she meets a young gentleman named Inman. Inman was a very sweet and shy man and did not say very much to Ada at first. Inman always felt a sense of intimidation whenever Ada.....
