The people who inhabited the Aegean Sea region left only a tiny trace of their existence. But the things they did leave behind almost make me forget how little we know when I see how different they are from Egypt's artifacts. Minoan new, middle and late period came at roughly the same time as Egypt's three kingdoms, yet the art is so incredibly different.
