This article describes the funerary practices Greek burials and Lamentation rituals. The Greeks believed that as soon as the death of a person, he or she should be obtained a higher level of seriousness by the last few words the person said before death. A Greek funeral was done in three stages: the body has to be prepared to be ready to lie out, the body then is moved to the place where it would be interred, and the body or cremated remains were deposited in to the tomb or the grave. Before anything could be done before the burial, they have to make sure to close the mouth and the eyes of the dead. The women that were households would have to wash the dead with seawater...
