The Indians educated and groomed the path for American survival in the new land, merely to be swindled out of their land and ultimately their lives. Throughout American history Indians have been denied their rights by the American government. The American government has breached many treaties and policies with the Indians. While the population of America increased, the government was faced with numerous problems concerning the Native Americans land, culture and population.
