Describes Puritan society and values. Examines how those values were extended to their literature.

Through reading the Puritan literatures, the Puritans make it very evident that they have a very diverse set of values and characteristics. The Puritans stand for many religious values that are in every aspect a way to please God because he is the one who decides everything, especially the fate of their lives. The Puritan literature explains the virtuous lifestyle they all have and how God was their main interest in all that they do. There are three main values that explain their lives and how they live them everyday. The suggested importance of the home and family, the simplistic lifestyle they lead, and God's almighty providence are the three most important values that the Puritans have.
