There were many important events that happened in early American history. From wars to discovering colonies, each was a critical part. Through this essay you will see how God has worked through our Leaders to help America become the country it is today.

The first thing that happened that was important to America's history was in 1492 Christopher Columbus came and discovered that the Americas existed, and that there was a group of people, the Indians, already there.

A couple hundred years later in 1607, 100 men and boys, came to America in search of something new. They came to place on the James River and named in Jamestown in honor of King James. Jamestown later became a part of the Virginia Colony. As Virginia was growing the made a place to make laws which was called the House of Burgesses which was founded in 1619.
