The United States of America was established on a government that has been able to withstand the test of time. It all began with the people of the thirteen colonies who were living under England's laws and way of government. England was endlessly creating new laws that increased their control of the thirteen colonies. The colonies started resisting the laws, especially the ones involving taxes. The people of the thirteen colonies started wanting their own government, and their own way of living. This was the start of the United States, the name the colonies gave themselves to further prove the independence they gained from England after the Revolutionary war. The United States government may be considered one the most influential governments in world history, but that does not mean that it never had any complications, which is in fact, how it all began.
