Augusta, Maine is a great place to visit on your vacations there are many activities to do and Maine has very beautiful scenery, hence the nickname, the pine tree state. Some activities are Acadia National Park, Maine Military Historical Society Museum, Old Fort Western, The Maine State Museum, The statue of Paul Bunyan, The Northern Timber Cruisers Antique Snowmobile Museum, and The Kennebec Historical Society.

Acadia National Park is just north of Augusta and it is a wonderful place to visit for a small fee of only $10 for 7 days for private vehicles. For those visiting the park on foot, bicycle, or motorcycle must only pay a fee of $5 for 7 days. The parks hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm. There is a free film about the park showed every 30 minutes as.....
