After the First World War the Paris Peace Conference was held with the three leaders Georges Clemenceau (Prime Minister of France), Woodrow Wilson (President of the USA) and David Lloyd George (Prime Minister of Britain) attending. The aim of the Conference was to decide upon how to treat the losers of the war, Germany. Even though the aims of the leaders were quite different in that Clemenceau wanted to harshly punish Germany, Wilson wanted to achieve world peace and Lloyd George wanted to punish Germany but not too harshly, they manage to come up with the Treaty of Versailles.
