The Perfect Apples

Summary:   This describes the tactics that I have left behind as a student and replaced with better tactics to improve my education/life.


Throughout my freshman year, I learned numerous things about life in high school. There were many things that I was not ready for and had to adapt to. Sometimes, I picked the wrong apples and the consequences were costly. However, these were the types of mistakes that helped me learn. By using my knowledge of the consequences, I learned what not to do and how to improve. Picking the wrong apples aided me in using better judgment to pick better and far more appropriate ones.

In the beginning, change was difficult. For one thing, the workload felt overwhelming after simple middle school work; therefore my completion tactics were a failure. I was constantly trapped in a cycle of waiting till the last minute to complete my homework, as I felt it to be a petty task......
