Summary: Essay provides a discussion about the phenomenon known as "deja vu."
We have all some experience of a feeling, that comes over us occasionally, of what we are saying and doing having been said and done before, in a remote time - of our having been surrounded, dim ages ago, by the same faces, objects and circumstances - of our knowing perfectly what will be said next, as if we suddenly remember it!"

This is a quote from Charles Dickens book David Copperfield, Dickens has had the feeling, and I'm sure you have had the feeling too. It is sudden and quick, leaving as unexpectedly as it came. While the experience is very clear and detailed, it is often difficult to recapture. Generally it is left unexplained and described simply as, "Wow, I just had the strangest DÉJÀ VU" (bring out first poster).
