Does England Need the Eu?

Summary:   Brief essay on why England needs the EU.


Great Britain has been in the European Union since 1973. Since then we have benefited in many areas of our lives ranging from health to politics. The European Union is a group of 15 countries who have united to help each other in different aspects of our livelihoods.

Firstly, the transport in and around Europe has assisted Britain amazingly. Goods are shipped around the EU faster and easier and holidays are now cheaper. Of all forms of transport, air transport seems to have aided us most. Air traffic has increased by an average of 7.4% a year between the year 1980 and 2001.

Education is also a region which has improved in Britain. We now are able to participate in student-exchange programs to widen the pupil's education on other cultures and work environments.

The EU is also helping.....
