Summary:   The following is a biography about the life of Maurits Cornelius Escher (a.k.a as M.C. Escher).


Maurits Cornelius Escher (a.k.a as M.C. Escher) was born on June 17, 1898. Escher. was born and lived in, locate in Europe. His family loved to call Escher, Mauk. He had two older brothers, of course his parents, George Arnold and Sarah Gleichman.

Escher first attended school in Arnhem, but later on in his young life he went to take up school in Zandvoort. M. C. was in Zandvoort to help his body's health get better and while there he decided to go to school. In school, Escher wasn't good at the main subjects, but loved art and drawing. Too bad he never finished school.

When Escher and his parents went to Italy in 1921, he drew detailed drawings of olive trees and cacti. Escher's first big selling print was St. Francis. In the spring of 1922,.....
