Nationalism is to have loyalty towards your own country. It is also to share history, culture, and language. The spirit of nationalism has shaped histories and destinies for many countries. Nationalism is the love for one's country. It can unite people into stable nations. It was belief that one's greatest loyalty should not be to the king or an empire but to a nation of people who share a common culture and history.

Conservatives were wealthy. They were property owners. The constitutional monarchies were approved. Liberals were middle class. They were business leaders and merchants. They wanted more power for elected parliament. Radicals were favored drastic changes. They believed government's should practice ideas of the French revolution.
