Summary:   Essay, to show the effects of colonialism in Africa, chooses two fictional novels, Things Fall Apart and Arrow Of God to set two examples of main characters, who is being affected by the colonialism in Africa.


Colonialism in Africa is one of the great cause for the death of cultures in Africa. Things Fall Apart and Arrow of God are the two of best novels written by Chinua Achebe, who was in favor of writing novels about Nigerian Culture, set examples of two families in many, to show colonialism's effects on Nigerian people's lives. Things Fall Apart doesn't have much information about colonialism and it's consequences as Arrow of God does because colonialism starts toward the end of the novel. Arrow of God is one of the best novel, which can be taken as a great example of colonialism and its consequences, maybe because author chooses the chief priest of Ulu as the main character.
