My Favorite Dead Poet

Summary: It's an essay about the movie Dead Poet's Society. Explains how I related to the movie. I must also select my favorite character and describes who I identified with the most by using life experiences.
Like most movies they all follow a theme: love, courage, and beauty. This movie has chosen the path of exposing the truth, which I admire because in life everyone searches for truth in everything they do. It captures the full affect of what a movie should be. Whether in love, beauty, or courage.

This boys from Welton Academy didn't know truth, due to the demanding lifestyle their parents have made for them. All had their goals of what they wanted in life, but their parents and teacher made them believe that it was a lie. That the things they wanted were just a distraction. Untill one teacher presented them with a vision of what its like to think for themselves. Mr. Keating was that teacher, he wanted them to be more. All the lessons were for them to realize poetry and to open up their creativness.
