The Death of Romeo and Juliet

Summary: Essay explains who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet.
Romeo and Juliet is a play based on love, fate, and tragedy. The struggle between the two lovers is shown as they deal with the hatred between their families and their love for each other. Their love was fated in a tragedy. Some characters in the play, the brawl between the two families, and most importantly fate brought the destruction to take place.

In the prologue, we learn that the only way the conflict could be ended was by the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. "Doth with their death bury their parents strife (Prologue, 8)." Benvolio asking Romeo to come with him to the Capulet's party was the start for their tragedy. secondly, Friar Lawrence getting the two youngsters married, knowing that the two families they belong to never interact with each other positively.
