Summary:   This essay tells about the constellation Aquarius. It focuses both of the mythological history of the constellation, and of the stars which make up the constellation.


Astronomical signs differ from true astrology. Most of the things alter from scientific fact, to myth, and prediction. Despite this, learning about my zodiac sign, has been, both interesting and exciting.

My astronomical sign is Aquarius, or in English, the Water Bearer or Carrier. The astronomical dates for my sign, are January 21 to February 20. These dates don't reflect upon the true time when the sun goes behind the constellation, and causes it to be one of the most prominent in the sky. From late February to early March is when the sun is behind the constellation of Aquarius.

Scientists theorize that the Sun was once in the constellation during the astronomical dates, but because of precession it has changed. Precession is the slow change of the orientation of earth's axis with a relationship to the.....
