Gandhi: A True Hero

Summary:   This essay is about how Gandhi was a true hero in the world. It states all of the major events that happened in Gandhi's life.


Do you know what a hero is? A hero is a mythological or legendary figure gifted with great strength or ability; a famous warrior; a man admired for his achievements and good qualities; or one that shows great courage. Some other characteristics/traits of a hero are bravery, selflessness, good leader, risk taker, an every day person, and a person who has flaws. Even though Mohandas K. Gandhi was no Superman/Batman he was still a hero, because he used his mind. He did not use guns, and by doing this he saved many lives and helped millions of people.

Mohandas K. Gandhi, also known as Mahatma Gandhi, was born October 2, 1869, to a regular family. He went to The University of London to study law. In 1891 he passed the Bar and headed back to India to.....
