The Effects of Immigration on America

Summary:   Provides an explanation of the effects of immigration on the United States of America.


Immigration had various effects on America. Out of the negative and positive ones, only some helped the United States be what it is today; a land of opportunity with urban cities and immense technology.

The adoptive citizens had effects on jobs in the United States. Those born in America believed and accused the immigrants of stealing their jobs and leaving many native Americans jobless. But the truth is that the jobs taken by the immigrants were low paying ones. These were the only jobs available for them because native workers refused to work for such low pay and since most immigrants didn't know the American language and since most weren't educated, they decided to take any job. These aliens revitalized old dying industries such as shoe manufacturing, the garment manufacturing, and agriculture. These industries were failing.....
