Summary: Describes and analyzes the events of 9/11/01 as backlash of American foreign policy.
Its not as if everyone is out to get America, or is it? In light of the attacks of September 11th, the big question to answer was why? Why do these people hate us so much? So much that they are willing to give their own lives simply to scare and kill our citizens. The answer to this question truly lies in the rise of Islamic fundamentalism in the Middle East and the utter failure that Westernization has been in the Middle East. To say that we are not responsible for these attacks is to say that a flirtatious coed at a fraternity party was not asking for it. While of course, she was not asking for it, she could have better informed herself about the situation she was entering and the best way to conduct herself to keep her safe and still get along with everyone.
