Hello, my name is Mary Wollstonecraft. I am considered the first modern feminist. I accomplished many goals in my lifetime even though I only lived to the age of thirty- eight. My family accidentally influenced me into what I became when I grew up. During my lifetime women had no rights, we were considered as property of men. There was no real education for women and if they were taught anything it was to properly sew a quilt or taking care of a family. I did not like the idea of being some man's property. I went out and did things my way.

I was born April 27, 1759 in London. I was born to Edward John Wollstonecraft and my mother Elizabeth Wollstonecraft. My father was a farmer most of his life. Children usually were expected.....
