Summary:   Analyzing Mary Shelly's Frankenstein


The Novel Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley is indeed a classic novel. The novel is about a young passionate scientist by the name of Victor Frankenstein who has to deal with the consequences of discovering the secret of life. He lives his life in guilt and remorse because he had the ability to create life, and created an abhorred monster. Frankenstein is a book that shows the effects of guilt, humiliation and deep sorrow in the heart. It further explores the relationship between the creator and its creation or, God and man. The books style, characters and symbolism combine to make this a very unique and emotional piece of writing.
