Enemy of the People
Summary: A personal opinion on the work.
Dr. Stockman, as the story says, seem to be in a big trouble because of his ideas, helpful attitude, and the way he wanted to express such thoughts. This story also seems to be a good example for us because we always have to face these kinds of situations. According with the story, dr. Stockman just tried to say what he thought; but when living in a culture where social status is what governs minds, he had to deal with being part of his family, advise others, and even try to rescue his family from folks. Basically, I could say that all we do and think have a response, sometimes good, sometimes bad, but we always get back what we do. In any way he was wrong because of the way he acted, but also right because he was defending his ideas. What a confusing story; but it's...
