Summary:   The Jazz Age- the 1920's


The 1920's Report~> The Jazz Age

Before the 1920s many people were very upset because of World War One. Many people didn't have husbands, sons, or family relatives anymore because they were killed at war. It was very depressing for many people because they didn't have money, and they didn't have jobs at first. Then, after the war a wonderful decade came and started to cheer people up. Instead of sitting home all day thinking of the war and how sad it was, people did different things. One of the things that were different was the music and dance that cheered people up. The music and dance of the 1920s helped to make the decade a time of fun and excitement as people tried to forget the tragedy of the war.

The twenties brought along the jazz.....
