Is Canada becoming the 51st state of America? Will the Free Trade Agreement destroy Canada? These were exactly the thoughts and ideas going through the minds of Canadians in the late 1980's. Yet, if you look at Free Trade a decade later, you will see that it has created a tight bond with the U.S.A and it is an essential part of Canada and its economy.

Canada is an independent country with its diverse culture and history. This may intertwine with the Americans, as they are our brothers to the south. Just as brothers, it will benefit both sides if they share all of their possessions or have a "Free Trade" with no restrictions.
