Summary:   The great accomplishments of Mahatma Gandhi


Is this a man of flesh and blood? No he can't be. No one can be as righteous, truthful and honorable as the great Mahatma Gandhi. He inspired not only his country but also the whole world by using his theories and peaceful assembly. Gandhi saved and freed 350,000,000 Indian citizens from the iron fist of Great Britain. Now who could have done this by non-violent resistance? There is only one answer to this question, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi or better known as Mahatma Gandhi (B. Severance, 15).

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on Oct.2 1869 in Porbander, India. Gandhi matured quickly and was married by the age of 13 to Kasturbai through an arranged marriage. Then at 19, Gandhi and Kasturbai left India so Gandhi could study law in London, England. He read numerous books on philosophy.....
