Good evening ladies and gentlemen, we are back again with our weekly show "Meeting English Authors" of the 20th century. Tonight I am going to discuss one of the most successful and famous English fantasy writers, also known as the 'father of the fantasy'. Most of you already know who I am talking about. Of course it is John Ronald Reuel Tolkien.

People all over the world have read his magnificent works. Nobody was left indifferent after reading his books. It is said that people either love Tolkien or hate him. His books provoke strong feelings whether it is sympathy or hatred. Readers that are 'hooked' on his books and fantasy in general would certainly love to meet the greatest fantasy author that world has seen so far. I personally am one of them. To explain.....
