Summary: The essay is about The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. It is my take on the messeges that are presented through the novel.
The Little Prince both poses and answers many questions about many things, and questions the significance of certain things that are often times asked about first. The important questions in life do not include quantity, but quality. They are not questions of when, or where, but of what. It is not how many of something or other, nor is it the age or time that makes something or somebody important. It is the perception, the ideas and emotions that exist which makes something real, something worthwhile. An event is not important because it is recorded in history books or caught on film. A friend is not special because they have four brothers, or a mother named Sue. Life is not special when all that is remembered or thought about is the date and time of its happening.
