Allen Iverson as My Hero

Summary: this is an essay about allen iverson as my hero.
This guy is the best player in the NBA. Well, from my thought he is. Allen Iverson is my hero. Everyone has a hero or at least one. When I play basketball I think that I'm Allen Iverson. I imagine myself shooting three pointers like Allen does. I think of Allen Iverson as my hero and teacher.

Allen Iverson or otherwise known as A.I. is my hero. He is almost like me or I'm almost like him. For example, A.I. is short like me. Whenever I see him on the court he is the shortest man on the court. He uses his shortness to get around people and score. Another example is that he has quick moves. In a game A.I. moves quick so he can make a basket. When he uses his quick movements nobody can catch him so he has an open shot. Another example is that he shoots many outside shots. When Allen plays he is good at outside shots. Like me I shoot outside shots and make them like he does.

He inspired me to be a good sport when I play. He made me think I can do anything when I play. When I play I think of him as my teacher. I learn many moves from him. When i watch him play I also learn from him. When I grow up I wish i could be as good as him. I want to be a basketball player and be as good as he is.

Everyone has a hero or at least one. Allen Iverson is mine. Other people may think he sucks, but to me he is the best. He is my hero and teacher. He is my inspiration. My motivation. He encourages me to believe and do any thing I want. He may no be on Sprite commercials or on Gatorade commercials and may not be the best to other people but to me he is the best.
