What does it take to be the world's greatest hero? This is explained in the mythological story of Hercules and his many adventures. Hercules cared for people close to him and for strangers because he valued their lives more than his own. Hercules was also willing to do many courageous things that a normal person would not do. He was a very strong man who could never be killed by anyone but by himself. Hercules was a hero because he was caring, courageous, and strong.

Hercules was a hero because he was caring. He helped the people of Stymphalus drive away the birds that were plaguing the city. "The sixth labor was to drive away the Stymphalian birds, which were a plague to the people of Stymphalus because of their enormous numbers." This proved that Hercules.....
